The Branches of Science

There are three major branches of scienece: Life , Earth, and Physical Science. However, there are many sub-branches that can be classified under these three main branches. These sub-branches can overlap and create even more specific areas of study.

  1. The three main branches in science are: Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science. The sub-branches that can be classified under the three branches of science they are:
    Physical:
    Physics, chemistry, thermodynamics

    Earth Science:
    Meteorology, Geologist, Paleontologist, Oceanography

    Life Science:
    Zooliogist, Bontanist, Taxonomist

However, in many cases there is overlapping between branches giving rise to new branches, they are :

    Biochemistry
    Geochemistry
    Geophysics
